As therapist, there is a tremendous amount of hard work that is involved when stepping into the world of private practice.  While earning our Master's degree, we are taught different theories, ethical obligations and human development.  All these things are crucial when working with clients and the understanding of human behavior.  In private practice, there is an additional aspect of insurance credentialing, HIPPA, EMR software, financial organization and the list goes on...

The business aspect can be one of the most frustrating and confusing hurdles that hinders therapists from entering into this 'world.'  

I entered into private practice in 2010 and basically enrolled in the school of hard knocks.  The more I tried to grasp the 'business' side of things, I felt as if I was trapped in a web of time consuming administrative turmoil.  This is a tough place to be and if you are considering private practice, then let us help you avoid this situation.

Counseling, LLC has come a long way since 2010.  We have made mistakes, gone through significant learning curves and are constantly looking for ways to grow and create new success; which is a constant part of creating a successful private practice.  Today, we currently have 8 therapists, an office manager and 2 office locations.  Everyday is a blessing filled with new learning experiences, ever changing healthcare requirements and an overall higher level of expectations.
